networks in strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of the United
Nations. Another portal on globalisation and governance designed by UNESCO that
surveys policy responses to the effects of global change. The United Nations Commission on Trade and Development has some useful
resources on its publications page. The US Alliance for Trade Expansion is a lobby group designed to counter
the anti-globalisation and anti-free trade lobby groups in the United
States. A US free trade web-site — well maintained. The World Trade Organisation site contains comprehensive resources on
issues such as environment and trade-liberalisation. The World Bank research currently focuses on trade liberalization and its
impact on developing countries. The World Economic Forum maintains summaries of presentations from its

alternate political strategies. The Third World Network is a rare, and well maintained, anti-globalisation
site actually based in Asia (Singapore). Corporate Europe Observatory is a radical Dutch organisation focusing on
big business. WTO Watch is a well maintained critical site on the trade and
globalissation matters. The International Council for Free Trade Unions keeps a page on

Academic The Nautilus Institute's focus is also on global governance. Its
